There’s something about film photography that’s a little bit more touchable. I can’t tell if I want to fix the broken fence in a photo, or just admire that it’s perfectly broken. A gargoyle, only 3 inches tall, can hold so much presence that you begin to wonder if it’s the one who queued the sun to rise that morning. A woman performing owns her space with the energy of an unabashed giant. Film photography opens a door to loving the world through the effort of adjusting, focusing, and holding onto a moment with a click.
